Letter #3905
Ioannes [DANTISCUS] to [Georg DONNER]Heilsberg (Lidzbark), 1543-11-05
English register:
The previous day he wrote what the addressee ought to know. He now sends, through the starost of Braunsberg (Braniewo) [Georg von Preucken] the news he had received from the royal court the day before yesterday. He asks the addressee to share it with the members of the chapter and with the custos [Johann Tymmermann]. He expects they will receive it with satisfaction.
If the custos or the addressee should have any such news, Dantiscus will gladly receive it.
The canons have surely already received the news that Jan Benedyktowicz [Solfa] is now “back among the living”.
