Sigismundus Dei gratia rex Poloniae, magnus dux Lituaniae, Russiae, Prussiae, Masoviae etc. dominus et heres

Reverende in Christo Pater, sincere nobis dilecte.

Casum, qui accidit civibus civitatis nostrae Gedanensis, non mediocriter dolemus. Quod autem Paternitas Vestra rogat, ut simus subsidio illi civitati et auxilio sublevemus illius damna, quae passa est ex exundatione fluvii, nos pro gratia nostra regia erga subditos nostros et ad intercessionem Paternitatis Vestrae pollicemur tantum illi, quantum forte satis pro parte nostra erit auxilii.

Qua de re latius cognoscetis ex domino castellano Gedanensi, cui de hoc negotio mandata dedimus. Itidem, quod attinet negotium Szielyslawsky, damus locum petitioni Paternitatis Vestrae.
