Dantiscus has furnished servant Sl[onsky], whom Srzeński sent to the Duke [Albrecht I von Hohenzollern-Ansbach] with a letter of commendation. He has also asked his own brother [Georg von Höfen] to outline the addressee’s concerns to the Duke. Srzeński will learn about how matters have proceeded so far from [Georg] as well as from the enclosed letter from the Duke to Dantiscus.

Cum iste hinc Magnificentiae Vestrae servitor Sl[onsky] proficiscatur, [a] quo et litteras, et alia omnia mentis Magnificentiae Vestrae desid[eria] abunde accepi illique, quoad eius fieri potuit, in [ne]gotio, quod apud illustrissimum dominum ducem vicinum meum t[rac]tare debuit, operam meam cum per commendaticias, [tum] etiam et fratrem meum, ut ipse referet, impenderim, non [est itaque], cur prolixioribus Magnificentiae Vestrae sim molestus.
Ab eo siquid[em] cognoscet singula, quemadmodum gesta sunt, praesertim ex litteris ad me ipsius illustrissimi domini ducis, quas mitto . Unde iis rebus pro sua in omnibus dispiciendis dexteritate ac prudentia, quae agenda restant, mature providebit Magnificentia Vestra.
Quam in multa saecula cum honestissima carissimaque sua coniuge, cui omnia fausta precor, vivere atque prosperrime valere ex animo cupi[o].
