Dantiscus expresses satisfaction that Giese accepts his proposal for the date and place of the consecration. Detailed information will be provided by the Chancellor [Baltazar of Lublin]. He is looking forward to their approaching meeting.

Reverendissime mi Domine, frater et amice carissime atque honorande.

Salutem fraternique amoris commendationem.

Gratum mihi est consecrationis diem et locum non displicere. Ad eum studiose ac diligenter curabuntur omnia.

Porro, quod Dominatio Vestra Reverendissima ob in se meam benevolentiam gratias habet, vicissim ago, quia illam non aspernatur, nimirum quae non debitione stipulationeve aliqua, verum ex nudo sinceroque amore derivatur, quemadmodum dominus cancellarius, cum quo de omnibus, quae ad me retulit, abunde et largiter communicavi, Dominationi Vestrae Reverendissimae dicet copiosius.

Quam paulopost sospitem et felicem apud me videre et complecti cupio oppido quam libentissime.
