Through the servant of the bishop of Kulm (Chełmno) [Tiedemann Giese], Dantiscus sends the friars eight marks in a sealed pouch as alms intended for the purchase of a barrel of herring to feed the friars during Advent. He asks the addressee and his fellow friars for prayers on his behalf and for the souls of the faithful departed. He also sends special greetings to the addressee’s predecessor, Friar Peter.
