Ioannes [DANTISCUS] to UNKNOWN [Ermland (Warmia) Canon]
Heilsberg (Lidzbark), 1542-09-16

English register:

Dantiscus returns the letter he received the previous day from the addressee. He directs that it be forwarded to the [Ermland (Warmia)] chapter so that the chapter may familiarise themselves with the contents and draft a response on behalf of both parties (utrimque), meaning both the bishop and the chapter.

Litteras, quas heri a Fraternitate Vestra accepimus, remittimus.
