Christus, perpetuae salutis auctor,
Confractis Acherontis ampla claustris
Devicta retulit tropaea morte;
Ex qua vi propria Patris resurgens
Aeterni suboles redemit omnes
In fontis fidei lavatione,
Qui nomen fuerint suum professi.
Christus non moritur magis nec illi
Mors ultra dominabitur; subactam
Hanc nam morte sua tenet premitque,
Ut posthac nequeat nocere nobis,
Peccato quia mortuus revixit,
Vita perpete cum Deoque vivit,
Ut nos participes ea coronet.
Hymnis nunc simul ergo, Christiani,
Et laetis modulis pium sonemus
Carmen, quod triduo iacens sepultus
Surrexit, moriturus inde numquam,
Spem vitae miseris ferens perennis
Christus, perpetuae salutis auctor!
