Qui servit pueri, senis et mulieris in aula,
A tribus his raro praemia digna feret.
In puero ratio non est; cum crevit, adultus
Praeteriti officii non solet esse memor.
Vita senis brevis est; delirat avarus, ab illo
Non aliud meritum spes nisi vana datur.
Est ingrata potens mulier; si mille per annos
Servieris, subito mota furore nocet.
Qui sapies igitur, tribus his servire caveto!
Sic poteris vita liberiore frui.
