Magnifice noster carissime etc.

Nonnulla tibi conferenda magnifico secretario nostro scripsimus, quae ut intellexeris, habito invicem consilio, perficienda perficies eaque negotia, quae severitate indigebunt, severa exsequeris manu, quae vero placida et mit{t}i [indige]bunt fronte, illa benigne suscipies citiusque quam poteris ... animum expedias negotiis, ut eo celerius Hispani[iis] [re]dire possis, quod maxime cupimus. Teque operaturum pro [statu]s nostri tranquillitate apud caesaream maiestatem diligenter audire exoptamus.
