Letter #5742
Alfonso de VALDÉS to Ioannes DANTISCUSs.l., [1527-08-31 — 1527-09-08]
English register:
Valdés asks Dantiscus if he should find him lodgings in the very pleasant town of Covillas de Zerrata, in an out-of-the-way location, 4 miles from Palencia and 5 miles from where Valdés is. It is where the vice-chancellor [Balthasar Merklin von Waldkirch] has been provided with his quarters. Valdés thinks he’ll be leaving the next day after dinner, so he asks for a prompt reply.

Arbitror nos cras discessuros a prandio, quare Dominatio Vestra
significet mentem suam desuper.
