Humillimam perpetuae meae fidelitatis et servitiorum commendationem.

Reverendissime in Christo <Pater> et Domine, domine clementissime.

Etsi valde timeo, ne Paternitatem Vestram Reverendissimam occupatum alioqui seriis negotiis ineptissimis litteris meis offundam, nihilominus, ne ingratus fastidiensque iudicer, nolui omittere, quin hisce meis humillima mea obsequia Paternitati Vestrae Reverendissimae offerrem, petens humillime, ut me pristina sua gratia prosequatur et benevolentia, quam ego totis viribus meis, si etiam vita profundenda esset et sanguis, mihi conservare curabo.

Nolo Paternitatem Vestram Reverendissimam cum summa, qua possum, reverentia latere generosum dominum Ludwig von Mortangen (Ludwik Mortęski) (†1539), 1512-1516 Castellan of Gdańsk (Danzig); 1516-1539 Castellan of Elbing (Elbląg) (SBPN 3, p. 256-257; PSB 22 Morsztyn Zbigniew - Mytkowicz, p. 9-11)Ludovicum de MortangenLudwig von Mortangen (Ludwik Mortęski) (†1539), 1512-1516 Castellan of Gdańsk (Danzig); 1516-1539 Castellan of Elbing (Elbląg) (SBPN 3, p. 256-257; PSB 22 Morsztyn Zbigniew - Mytkowicz, p. 9-11) castellanum Elbingensem feria sexta proxime praeterita in Engelsburg (Pokrzywno)EngelsburgEngelsburg (Pokrzywno) vitam cum morte commutasse. Hoc pro fide mea Paternitatem Vestram Reverendissimam latere nolui.

Quod reliquum est, me iterum atque iterum humillime Paternitati Vestrae Reverendissimae commendo Deumque precor, ut Paternitatem Vestram Reverendissimam quam diutissime sanam et incolumem conservet.
