Dantiscus wishes to thank the addressee for the effort he put into organising the wedding of Dantiscus’ sister [Catherina von Höfen]; therefore he invites him to spend the coming Saturday and Sunday in Seeburg (Zybork).

Venerabilis Domine, frater carissime.

Salutem et felicitatem.

Cum adhuc pro opera, quam impendit matrimonio sororis meae, nullae sunt Dominationi Dominationi Vestrae actae(?) habitae gratiae neque plene adhuc sciat, quam feliciter successerit, operae pretium censui eo Dominationem Vestram adducere, ubi et gratitudinem erga se atque eius rei prosperum eventum experiri possit. Proinde apud me statui perendie, Deo bene favente, hoc est feria sexta proxima, in Sheburgam me conferre, quo Dominationem Vestram amicissime invito et rogo, ut pro die Sabbati ad prandium venire mecumque inibi per diem Dominicum manere gravari non velit, rem mihi apprime gratam et quam omni fraterna benevolentia rependere curabo Dominatio Vestra factura.
