Letter #3861
[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to [Achatius TRENCK]Löbau (Lubawa), 1537-11-17
English register: Dantiscus is replying to Trenck’s letter. He thanks the Chapter for their concern in wanting to organize his journey to Lidzbark but, as he has informed Tiedemann Giese in a letter, he plans to travel through Gietrzwałd and Dobre Miasto and not – as the Chapter expects him to – through Olsztyn. Dantiscus promises that once he is ready to set off, he will inform Trenck of the exact date of his departure.
