Serenissima Maiestas Regia et Domine, domine clementissime. Post humillimam perpetuae meae servitutis commendationem.

Qua de re ex rumore, qui prius fuit, nunc certa fama est nata Charles V of Habsburg (*1500 – †1558), ruler of the Burgundian territories (1506-1555), King of Spain as Charles I (1516-1556), King of Naples and Sicily, King of the Romans (1519-1530), Holy Roman Emperor of the German Nation (elected 1519, crowned 1530, abdicated 1556); son of Philip I the Handsome and Joanna the Mad of CastilecaesaremCharles V of Habsburg (*1500 – †1558), ruler of the Burgundian territories (1506-1555), King of Spain as Charles I (1516-1556), King of Naples and Sicily, King of the Romans (1519-1530), Holy Roman Emperor of the German Nation (elected 1519, crowned 1530, abdicated 1556); son of Philip I the Handsome and Joanna the Mad of Castile, cum primum poterit, in Italy (Italia)ItaliamItaly (Italia) concessurum, et ob id conventum regnorum istorum in Toledo (Toletum), city in central Spain, Castilla-La Mancha, on the Tagus (Tajo) riverToletoToledo (Toletum), city in central Spain, Castilla-La Mancha, on the Tagus (Tajo) river 12 abhinc leugis constituit, illic pro nervo conquirendo, quibus pedes ad iter hoc ineundum validiores fiant, consultari debet, quo post festa Paschae nos omnes conferemus. >Charles V of Habsburg (*1500 – †1558), ruler of the Burgundian territories (1506-1555), King of Spain as Charles I (1516-1556), King of Naples and Sicily, King of the Romans (1519-1530), Holy Roman Emperor of the German Nation (elected 1519, crowned 1530, abdicated 1556); son of Philip I the Handsome and Joanna the Mad of CastileMaiestas caesareaCharles V of Habsburg (*1500 – †1558), ruler of the Burgundian territories (1506-1555), King of Spain as Charles I (1516-1556), King of Naples and Sicily, King of the Romans (1519-1530), Holy Roman Emperor of the German Nation (elected 1519, crowned 1530, abdicated 1556); son of Philip I the Handsome and Joanna the Mad of Castile 1525-04-055 istius1525-04-05 Guadalupead Divam Virginem de GardelupeGuadalupe 50 ab hinc leugis, ubi multa fiunt miracula, profecta est, Deo illic de tam insigni victoria gratias actura, ad primam Maii Toletum ventura.

1525-04-09Hodie1525-04-09 elapsus est octavus mensis, nam 1524-08-099 Augusti1524-08-09 datae erant novissimae, quas Stanisław Borek (*1474 – †1556), doctor of both laws; 1505 canon of Włocławek; 1508 - Poznań; 1520 - Gniezno; 1523 - Cracow; 1524 royal secretary; 1538 cantor at the Gniezno chapter; 1540 - at the Cracow chapter; 1542 dean at the Cracow chapter; 1523 royal envoy to Rome; 1524 - to emperor Charles V; 1526 - to Bari (WYCZAŃSKI 1990, p. 248; PSB 2, p. 320-322)doctor BorgkStanisław Borek (*1474 – †1556), doctor of both laws; 1505 canon of Włocławek; 1508 - Poznań; 1520 - Gniezno; 1523 - Cracow; 1524 royal secretary; 1538 cantor at the Gniezno chapter; 1540 - at the Cracow chapter; 1542 dean at the Cracow chapter; 1523 royal envoy to Rome; 1524 - to emperor Charles V; 1526 - to Bari (WYCZAŃSKI 1990, p. 248; PSB 2, p. 320-322) mihi attulit, quod nullas accepi. Sum igitur in ea exspectatione, in qua fuerunt patres sancti in limbo inferni, neque mihi hinc abire licet, nisi prius Maiestatis Vestrae Serenissimae mandatum videro, quod etiam usque ad extremum quadrantem exspectabo habeoque certam spem, si de tot litteris, quas toties scripsi, unae saltem Maiestati Vestrae Serenissimae praesentabuntur, quod mei clementem habitura sit rationem.

Ante unam horam fuit hic apud me Georg Klingenbeck (Jorgen), diplomat; Commander (Hauptmann) in Klaipėda; councillor of Duke Albrecht von Hohenzollern; in the twenties ducal envoy to Scandinavia, Moscow, Livonia, Poland and Spain; 1529 - to the Diet of Speyer; 1530 - to the Diet of Augsburg; 1534 ducal envoy to Mauritius Ferber, Bishop of Ermland (HARTMANN 1525-1550, No. 322, 324; HUBATSCH 1985, p. 59)nuntiusGeorg Klingenbeck (Jorgen), diplomat; Commander (Hauptmann) in Klaipėda; councillor of Duke Albrecht von Hohenzollern; in the twenties ducal envoy to Scandinavia, Moscow, Livonia, Poland and Spain; 1529 - to the Diet of Speyer; 1530 - to the Diet of Augsburg; 1534 ducal envoy to Mauritius Ferber, Bishop of Ermland (HARTMANN 1525-1550, No. 322, 324; HUBATSCH 1985, p. 59), de quo scripsi, Albrecht I von Hohenzollern-Ansbach (Albrecht von Brandenburg) (*1490 – †1568), 1511-1525 Grand Master of the Teutonic Order; from 1525 to his death Duke in Prussia as a liegeman of the Polish king; son of Friedrich V of Brandenburg der Ältere and Sophia Jagiellon (daughter of Casimir IV Jagiellon), nephew of Sigismund I, King of Poland; founder of the university in Königsberg (1544)domini magistriAlbrecht I von Hohenzollern-Ansbach (Albrecht von Brandenburg) (*1490 – †1568), 1511-1525 Grand Master of the Teutonic Order; from 1525 to his death Duke in Prussia as a liegeman of the Polish king; son of Friedrich V of Brandenburg der Ältere and Sophia Jagiellon (daughter of Casimir IV Jagiellon), nephew of Sigismund I, King of Poland; founder of the university in Königsberg (1544) et me omnium, quae mecum confidenter de pace vel saltem longioribus indutiis producendis inter Maiestatem Vestram Serenissimam et illius dominum contulit, admonuit rogando me, ut prius, quod si in conventu Posoniensi nihil istorum esset confectum, quod tamen non speraret, ut operam impenderem et animum meum ad ea, quae pacis et concordiae essent, inducerem, multum mihi, qui Maiestatis Vestrae Serenissimae sum minimus servus, tribuens et quantum ex eo potui coniectura consequi, ut etiam scripsi in novissimis, dominus magister pacis est cupidissimus.

Cui me humillime, ut domino meo clementissimo, commendo.
