Ioannes DANTISCUS to [Baltazar of Lublin]
Löbau (Lubawa), 1537-11-03

English register: Dantiscus is encouraging Baltazar of Lublin not to return (from Gdańsk to Lubawa) until he regains his health completely. He also asks if Baltazar needs anything that he could send him. He asks him to convey his greetings to doctor Ioannes Tresler and parish priest Urban.

Venerabilis Domine, Frater in Christo carissime, a quo vobis salutem et incolumitatis written over ememisis written over em precor restitutionem.

Cuius ut bonam diligentemque habeatis curam, commoneo ac consulo, neque vos prius hoc duro insalubrique tempore ms. tempori(!) temporetempore ms. tempori(!) itineri committatis, nisi vos solide melius habere integriusque valere cognoscatis. Gratiae, quas mihi egistis, non erant necessariae. Si qua adhuc re opus habetis, qua vobis subvenire possim, reddite me certiorem – praestabo non gravate – curateque, ut recuperata sanitate et viribus faustiter ad me redeatis. Singularissimo amico meo domino Ioanni Trusler doctori et parrocho domino Urbano salutem ex me dicite plurimam.
