Reverendissime Domine, Amice et Frater carissime ac plurimum honorande.

Sunt redditae mihi Vestrae Dominationis Reverendissimae litterae. Quamvis autem maluissem ipsam ego Reverendissimam Dominationem Vestram longo iam tempore mihi non visam videre et alloqui, praesentisque vivas audire voces, dextram deosculari et collo manus inicere, posteaquam tamen illud mihi fortuna fatisque nobis adversis negatum est, non potui non dolenter ferre et fortunam meam bis terque accusare. Epistulam autem eius et manibus obviis et animo sum totiens amplexatus iterumque ac iterum deosculatus.

Quam autem affert excusationem, non tantum admitto bonive consulo, verum et gratiam quoque ago et habeo quam maximam pro tali in me animo sic videlicet propenso et amico, qui tanta licet temporum atque locorum interveniente intercapedine videtur factus auctior, tantum abest, ut sit mutatus factusve tepidior. Quare et iterum ago gratias id unum ab Ea petens, ut quod suapte sponte facit, pergat facere ad ultimum et se praestans sui similem me solito amore complectatur de me sibi amica invicem omnia persuadendo.

Praeterea pergratum mihi vehementer est illud, quod Vestra Dominatio Reverendissima magistratui Gdanensi scribere dignata est, eumque commonefaciens, quo Pancracium monachum Dominicanum, per eum in ecclesia Reverendissimae Dominationis Vestrae istic contionatorem institutum, qui sopitos utcumque iam pridem istic ignes suis erroneis dogmatibus, quos in vulgum inertem de suggesto spargit, plane excitare videtur, inde ablegaret; fecit Reverendissima Dominatio Vestra sane officium boni praesulis et pastoris. Idem ego etiam superioribus diebus feci non modo per meas, sed etiam maiestatis regiae et reverendissimi domini archiepiscopi litteras, feci etiam per nuntium proprium, cupiens eum ipsum magistratum ad officium iri reductum.
