Letter #5796

Alfonso de VALDÉS to Ioannes DANTISCUS
[Ghent (Gandavum)], [1531-04-13 or shortly after]

English register:

Valdés writes that Dantiscus will see from his letter to Cornelis [De Schepper] how he should reply to Cornelis about the emperor’s arrival. He will come to Dantiscus the next day because he doesn’t want to be forced to give him a “Camillian dinner” (Camillino prandio te excipere).
