Regest polski: Valdes jest zadowolony, że Dantyszek szczęśliwie dojechał, i że wyraził radość z bezpiecznego przybycia Valdesa. Miał zamiar jak najszybciej odwiedzić Dantyszka, nie mógł jednak ruszyć się z domu. Kanclerz [Mercurino Gattinara] czuje się źle, ale dzielnie walczy z chorobą; wstał z łóżka. Valdes sugeruje, aby Dantyszek przyszedł do kanclerza, będzie bardzo mile widziany.
