Alfonso de VALDÉS to Ioannes DANTISCUS
[Burgos?], [shortly after 1527-10-17?]

English register:

Valdés is pleased that Dantiscus arrived without a problem and that he expressed joy at Valdés’ own safe arrival. He intended to visit Dantiscus as soon as possible but he couldn’t leave home. The chancellor [Mercurino Gattinara] is unwell but is bravely battling his illness; he got out of bed. Valdés suggests that Dantiscus come to see the chancellor, he will be very welcome.
