Regest polski: Valdes chwali przesłany mu przez Dantyszka epigramat jako królewski dar, od którego nie ma nic cenniejszego. Ubolewa, że „przykra natrętność” (importuna importunitas) starca [Mercurino Gattinary] nie pozwala mu odwiedzić przyjaciela. Prosi o wiadomość o tym, co sądzi Cato Pratensis [Lodewijk van Praet] na temat wspomnianego epigramatu.
