Letter #5750

Alfonso de VALDÉS to Ioannes DANTISCUS
Sagunto, [1528]-05-18

English register:

Valdés didn’t say his goodbyes because Dantiscus was asleep. The passport Dantiscus requested will be issued by secretary Urrias’ scribe, Comalonga. He jokingly admonishes Dantiscus not to let the charms of the local girls keep him too long in Valencia. The chancellor [Mercurino Gattinara] is better. Valdés asks Dantiscus to take into his service the relative, who delivers this letter. He also asks Dantiscus to give his regards to his friends.

            received Valencia, [1528]-05-18
