Salutem et omnis felicitatis incrementum.

Reverendus dominus Iohannes Veze, electus Londensis, qui hesterno die Urbem applicuit, hodie consignavit mihi litteras vestras scriptas Augustae die 22 Octobris, plenas favoris et humanitatis, quibus intellexi Reverendissimam Paternitatem Vestram diversas ternas meas una cum instructionibus recepisse et bullas vestrae promotionis tertia huius ad vos allatas fuisse. Placuit admodum tandem expeditioni vestrae extremam manum fuisse impositam, displicuit autem, quod non sit satisfactum rei vestrae ad voluntatem vestram, quod taxae ecclesiae vestrae diminutio aut reductio non sit obtenta. Sane ut id efficeretur, summa ... illegible...... illegible enixus sum ope et diligentia, atque ut tandem obtineatur, omnibus mediis procurabo.

Proinde postquam litterae serenissimi regis Poloniae huc pervenerint, earum auctoritate et assistentia suffultus, ipso effectu experiemini, quantum(?) quantum semper desideraverim et desiderem, vobis vestrisque rebus et negotiis utilis esse et opportunus; nam auctoritas vestra et virtus promerentur et me inducunt, ut debeam et velim, tali tantaeque personae inservire, mihique credam satisfactum esse, si oblata occasione operam et diligentiam meam praestiterim. His paucis valeat Paternitas Vestra Reverenda, cui me ex animo commendari cupio.
