Dantyszek wyraża zadowolenie z karła przysłanego przez adresata za pośrednictwem posłańca. Dziękuje za jego wyszukanie i obiecuje, że się odwdzięczy. Chwali jego rysy twarzy, wzrost oraz proporcje ciała, odpowiadające jego oczekiwaniom. Jeśli nie urośnie, uzna go za odpowiedniego dla osób, którym zamierza go ofiarować.Niezależnie od tego, czy urośnie, będzie przywoływał życzliwe wspomnienie o adresacie.

Zaniedbanie gdańszczan, rodaków Dantyszka, polegające na niewysłaniu sukna dla adresata oraz ochmistrza dworu [Piotra Zborowskiego], wywołało jego wyraźne niezadowolenie. Po otrzymaniu ostatniego listu od adresata polecił swojemu kanclerzowi [Johannowi Lehmannowi], wysłanemu na sejm Prus Królewskich w Grudziądzu – sam bowiem zawrócił z drogi na zjazd ze względu na chorobę – aby zganił gdańszczan i przedstawił sprawę członkom rady Prus Królewskich. Radcom postępowanie gdańszczan nie spodobało się tak samo jak Dantyszkowi. Podczas obrad wyrazili wobec nich stanowcze niezadowolenie. Przedstawiciele Gdańska przypisali odpowiedzialność za zaniedbanie jednemu ze swoich kolegów oraz zapewnili, że przesyłka została już nadana.

Rodacy Dantyszka zwrócili się do niego z prośbą, aby usprawiedliwił ich postępowanie wobec adresata listu oraz ochmistrza dworu. Prosi zatem, by z powodu tej sprawy adresat nie żywił urazy ani wobec nich, ani wobec radców Prus Królewskich. Zapewnia o swoim niezmiennym przywiązaniu.
